Process only the data genuinely needed to provide the feature

This page describes the general principles for public CVoice Family apps. If an app needs to retain works or short-term sessions, its own page provides additional details.

How recordings are handled

CVoice and CVoice Insight send audio that users actively record or select to the corresponding analysis service. Server-side processing performs format conversion, recording-quality checks, and acoustic-feature calculation; original and intermediate converted files are deleted after the task completes or fails.

Recordings are not sent to third-party AI models for training and are not used for voiceprint identification. Analysis task status and structured results may be retained temporarily for polling, recovery, or report generation; they do not include the original recording.

Which experiences run locally in the browser

FrostNote's real-time pitch detection and MelodyCanvas's audio synthesis run primarily in the user's browser. Microphone data and the drawing process do not need to be sent to the server as a continuous audio stream. Relevant result or work data is submitted only when users explicitly use leaderboards, sharing, or other online features.

What anonymous statistics retain

CVoice aggregates the number of analyses and the occurrence counts of primary timbres and three-timbre combinations to calculate sample proportions and rarity. Statistical records contain no names, accounts, IP addresses, device fingerprints, or recording content and cannot reconstruct who a particular test belonged to.

To operate the service, servers and Cloudflare may generate short-lived technical logs containing time, request path, status code, and network address. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting, and capacity monitoring, not to build personal voice profiles.

Public works and interactive content

Apps with public sharing, such as EchoSea and MelodyCanvas, retain works users explicitly publish, titles, visual parameters, interaction counts, and necessary anonymous anti-abuse credentials. Public content may be visible to other visitors and expires automatically according to the lifecycle stated by the product.

Do not submit sensitive information such as real names, contact details, addresses, or account passwords in titles, recordings, or works. Reports and moderation records are used only to handle rule violations.

Cookies, local storage, and human verification

Some apps use cookies or browser local storage to retain task IDs, short-term preferences, anonymous voting credentials, and priority-use counts. EchoSea uses Cloudflare Turnstile for first-vote verification; the verification component processes necessary browser and network signals under Cloudflare's privacy rules.

Clearing browser data may prevent unexpired tasks from being restored or require you to complete human verification again.

Google Ads

Some pages may use Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to show ads based on a user's previous visits to this or other websites. Google uses advertising cookies so it and its partners can serve, measure, and improve ads based on those visits. Related processing may also involve IP addresses or device information.

Users can visit Google ad settingsto manage or opt out of personalized ads; you can also use AboutAds to manage cookies used by some third-party vendors for personalized advertising. For more information, see Google's advertising technology information. Ads should not be disguised as test buttons, download links, or CVoice Family app navigation, and portal content or product conclusions will not change because of advertisers.

What users can do

You can choose not to upload recordings, not to publish public works, to refuse nonessential cookies, or to use the product's delete, report, and feedback options while a work remains within its manageable period. If the privacy notice does not match actual behavior, contact the developer through CVoice page feedback or QQ group 1087037352.

Recording permissionUpload only recordings you have the legal right to use or for which you have explicit permission from the rights holder. Do not upload the voices of celebrities, streamers, voice actors, or other third parties without authorization.
