How a Voice Becomes a Star
After you upload or record 2–15 seconds of audio, EchoSea reuses CVoice’s acoustic dimensions to map tendencies such as pitch, brightness, weight, warmth, and stability to a star’s color, size, trajectory, and region. The color blends the three most prominent voice prototypes rather than assigning each person a permanent color.
The star sea is a large looping canvas that you can roam continuously, with five gradient regions carrying different visual moods. Coordinates and star states can be saved in a browser notebook so you can find them again, but local notes do not copy the original audio.
Why Stars Disappear
Ordinary stars last about 24 hours by default. Replies and likes can extend their lifespan, while dislikes shorten it; content that continues to receive interaction may form longer-lived constellations. A daily freeze period from 00:00 to 09:00 Beijing Time helps maintain the rhythm of the star sea.
Once content expires, its audio is deleted immediately, while the visual afterimage may remain for up to about 24 more hours. Ephemerality is not a bug; it is a core part of this space.
